Eligibility
This course is open ONLY to R4, R5 residents and fellows currently pursuing a shoulder fellowship in a Canadian orthopaedic centre. Space is extremely limited.

Course topics: Paediatric shoulder, tumour, rotator cuff and tendon pathology, instability, trauma & fractures, arthroplasty. Two-day program with cadaver labs, case-based teaching in small groups and surgical videos with over 10 of Canada's leading shoulder surgeons.
Course faculty includes: Drs. Jeffrey S. Abrams (Princeton, NJ), Evan L. Flatow (New York, NY), Course Chairs: Dominique Rouleau (University de Montréal), Robert H. Hawkins (UBC), JOINTS President: Richard M. Holtby (University of Toronto) + over 10 of Canada's leading shoulder surgeons.
Wednesday, January 25: Arrivals & Registration Thursday, January 26: Full day of sessions (7:00-18:00) / Evening social night (19:00) Friday, January 27: Full day of sessions (7:00-18:00)
Location
The course will be held at the McGill Arnold and Blema Steinberg Medical Simulation Centre (McGill Sim Centre) located at 3575 Parc Ave. As well as at the New Residence Hall right across the street: 3625 Parc Av.
The lab and lunch video sessions will be held at the Sim Centre while the small teaching group sessions will be held at the McGill New Residence building which is just across the street and accessible through a short underground pedway.
The course facility is a 7-minute walk from the Holiday Inn Midtown. Here is a map with walking directions.
All sessions will be held at the Sim Centre/New Residence - no scientific sessions will be held at the Holiday Inn Midtown. The hotel is simply your guest room facility. For those staying at the hotel, the Holiday Inn Midtown is located at:

Registration Package Includes:

REGISTRATION DEPOSIT Registration is subject to a $200 CAD deposit that will be reimbursed directly to the credit card used to pay for your registration. Reimbursements will be processed after the course. A notification will be sent to you when the reimbursement is processed.
CANCELLATION POLICY (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
- Cancellations received in writing by November 15 will be fully refunded.
- Cancellations received in writing between November 16 and December 15 are nonrefundable.
- Cancellations received after December 15 as well as no shows are nonrefundable and subject to an additional $300 cancellation fee.
HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS A double-occupancy hotel room for the nights of January 25 and 26 will be provided to each registrant as part of the Registration Package. Room and tax are covered by the 2012 Shoulder Course while any incidentals (room service, movies etc.) will be charged directly to the registrant by the hotel. A credit card is required at the time of check in. Registrants of the 2012 Shoulder Course are responsible for any damages and related charges or penalties.
Course organizers will do their best to accommodate each registrant's roommate preference but cannot provide any guarantees. If no roommate is indicated on the registration form, one will be assigned. No changes can be made at check in to your reservation or assigned roommate.
