Next year's COA Annual Meeting will be held from June 17-20, 2010 in Edmonton, Alberta.  Please save the new date for this exciting event!  Check out www.coaannualmeeting.org in August for more information.

2) COFAS - CALL FOR ELECTIONS
The Canadian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (COFAS) is a group of orthopaedic surgeons with special interest in foot and ankle reconstruction that seek to improve foot and ankle care for Canadian patients through education, research, and advocacy.  We actively participate in the education of Canadian orthopaedic surgeons through the COA, and perform nationally and internationally recognized clinical trials.  During the COA meeting in Whistler, we will be holding elections for new officers of the Society and would like to invite any COA member with a foot and ankle interest to join our Society or seek a position.  The election of new officers and increasing membership is vital to our mission.  If you are interested in a position or would like to submit a proxy vote, please contact Johnny Lau ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
