Objectives:

A comprehensive experience in Post-Graduate Sport Medicine/Arthroscopy developing skills to evaluate and treat common athletic orthopaedic injuries. This includes clinical evaluation, surgical and non-surgical management of athletic injuries. Procedures include arthroscopy of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle.

Comprehensive care working with the radiology and physical therapy department including preoperative assessment, imaging, surgical/arthroscopic management and postoperative rehabilitation.

This will include treatment of professional and amateur athletes. This will include game coverage of professional and amateur sporting events.

This will include performing, writing and presenting an original research project.

Sports medicine fellow participates actively in our didactic teaching me.
The fellowship will be shared between Drs. Whelan and Theodoropoulos.
The fellowship is open to Canadian and International Graduates.
