The Holland Orthopaedic and Arthritic Centre is the largest volume arthroplasty centre in Canada. Fellows will gain exposure to all aspects of reconstructive surgery: osteotomies, primary and revision arthroplasty including minimally invasive techniques. Current volume is 2500 cases per year with plans for over 4000 cases by 2010. This is a stand-alone Orthopaedic Unit without an Emergency Room. Additional trauma experience can be available through the Sunnybrook campus of the hospital.
