Introduction
The failed acetabular cup represents many treatment challenges. The surgeon must attempt to maintain or reconstitute bone stock while achieving adequate fixation and avoid complications. The use of porous tantalum, liner exchange, bone graft, cages and jumbo cups will be discussed by Drs. Lavoie, Hedden, Naudie, Beaulé and Gross respectively.
