The UWO Shoulder Fellowship will provide the surgeon with an intensive one-year clinical and research experience designed to focus on all aspects of shoulder pathology. The candidate will benefit from the combined practices of two major clinical teaching units currently training both residents and fellows, and from exposure to a wide range of shoulder problems and their surgical solutions.

FELLOWSHIP DESCRIPTION Candidates will spend six months at each site assisting in the care of patients in the clinic, operating room and inpatient ward.
Protected research time will be allocated with a project of publishable quality expected at the completion of the fellowship. Decisions regarding research topic will be made at the beginning of the year using the resources of the participating labs.
Fellows will be expected to participate in a variety of related academic activities, such as medical student/resident teaching and preparation of rounds/conferences.
