SHOULDER AND ELBOW RECONSTRUCTION FELLOWSHIP
This comprehensive adult shoulder and elbow reconstruction fellowship, based at St. Joseph's Health Centre (Dr. Amr ElMaraghy) and the Toronto Western Hospital (Dr. Christian Veillette) is open to appropriately qualified Canadian and internationally trained orthopaedic surgeons who are seeking additional subspecialty training in arthroscopic and open management of upper extremity pathology.
Fellowship Director: Dr. Christian Veillette MD, MSc, FRCSC
Number of Positions: 2
Duration: 1 year (2 six month rotations at each institution)
Salary: $60,000 per year
Summary:

Clinical exposure to a wide range of referrals for both arthroscopic and open reconstruction of shoulder and elbow (with some wrist) pathologies in the clinic, office, emergency room and operating room

Participates in some rounds, teaching and research responsibilities
The fellow must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and registration with the Ontario Health Insurance Plan
Application requirements should be received by September 1st in the year prior to the proposed start of the fellowship. The Shoulder and Elbow Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship begins July 1st annually.
