The Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Center is the regional oncological referral center for Hamilton and surrounding area with a catchment of 2.5 million people. The Musculoskeletal Oncology Service manages all aspects of primary and metastatic musculoskeletal tumour care with 1.5 OR days per week dedicated to the care of primary musculoskeletal sarcomas. 

McMaster University Orthopaedics is the world leader in Evidence-Based Research. Oncology Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in high-impact research during the course of their fellowship. The fellow will produce at least one publication ready manuscript during the year. 

The fellow will attend 2 OR sessions per week and 1-2 clinics per week with dedicated research time weekly. The fellow will assist with ward duties and surgical aftercare of inpatients. The fellow will participate in on call duties, weekly teaching sessions and be responsible for a Grand Rounds presentation.
