Spotlight on Canada at the AAOS Meeting

2013_CanadaWe would like to thank all of our members who visited the Canada Guest Nation booth at the recent AAOS Annual Meeting in Chicago.  The Guest Nation distinction put the spotlight on Canadian orthopaedics at this renowned event and allowed the COA additional opportunities to showcase the advancements, accomplishments, influence and innovations that our members continue to contribute to the specialty worldwide.  Thank you to all of the Canadian presenters and participants who proudly represented the COA throughout the meeting.

Cecil H. Rorabeck becomes new Royal College President

Cecil H. Rorabeck, OC, MD, FRCSC, became the 42nd president of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada at a ceremony held in Ottawa, Ont. on February 22. A highly-decorated orthopaedic surgeon and educator with a passion for humanitarian aid, Dr. Rorabeck is recognized worldwide for his groundbreaking work in hip and knee replacement surgeries.
